“What is there on earth worth living for but the glory of God and the salvation of souls.” William CareyOpportunities
Mark Twain reflected, “The two most important days in your life are the day you are born and the day you find out why”. God has gifted you and prepared significant works for you to do. So match your passions with the dreams of God and join an exciting opportunity with BELT to make a difference in the world.
Sailing the South Seas: Yachts for Life
The sea can sometimes be wild. At times, there is high risk. But there is also high reward. Experience an out of the box adventure you’ll never forget as you experience the smiles from those who have never had visitors in decades.
With an initial project to reach all of Fiji’s outer islands (60 to go) with Bible training and community development, an experienced captain is needed to be responsible for a maritime yacht and its operations.
BELT team members are also needed for 2 yachts, who have no fear of the sea, are called to remote places, are able to operate cross-culturally, can teach, and also have an aptitude for seamanship (no experience needed).
Storytelling for oral learners: Audio Bibles
80% of the world learns best through oral means (The Orality Network). Provide those with limited access to the Bible as well as oral learners an audio Scripture resource in their heart language. Containing 70+ key worldview stories of Scripture on micro SD cards that fit into cell phones or solar players, make the spoken Word come alive for many who will otherwise never read it.
Shaping the next generation: BELT for Kids
With more than 2.2 billion children on earth (Humanium), we have the opportunity and responsibility to build a legacy for this next generation so they too can know and love their Creator, enjoy His care and input, and live free from the consequences of bad choices.
Influencing the influencers: Government and Justice
The world is plagued with corruption and injustice – politically, economically and socially. Justice—morally right behavior and treatment of people is a consistent theme in the Bible. Share God’s instructions for governing righteously with city and regional officials so that communities may have hope to experience principled and impartial leadership.
Making a practical difference: Community development
The gospel is both spiritual and practical. Loving God and loving your neighbor as yourself encompasses community development. Use simple tools to respond to the needs of the marginalized in a holistic manner. Serve Jesus by serving the needs of the least of these.
